Fail-Proof Bread Recipe – Soft, Tasty, and Easy!

January 25, 2025 by admin

This is the one! Quick, easy, and makes two perfect loaves every time. 🍞

Notes:

  • Perfect for sandwiches, toast, or just enjoying plain with butter.
  • Store in an airtight bag or container for up to 3 days.
  • This recipe is beginner-friendly and forgiving—ideal for any bread-baking journey!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp yeast (active dry or instant)
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Activate the Yeast:
    • Dissolve sugar in the warm water in a mixing bowl.
    • Sprinkle yeast on top and let it proof for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Combine Wet Ingredients:
    • Stir the vegetable oil into the proofed yeast mixture.
  3. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
    • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, one cup at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead:
    • Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 3-5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. First Rise:
    • Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, turning it to coat both sides.
    • Cover with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Shape the Loaves:
    • Punch down the dough to release air. Divide it in half and shape into loaves.
    • Place each loaf into a greased bread pan.
  7. Second Rise:
    • Cover again and let rise for 30-40 minutes, until the dough fills the pans nicely.
  8. Bake:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the loaves for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Finish:
    • Remove the loaves from the pans and brush the tops with butter while still warm for a soft, shiny crust.

Quick, foolproof, and absolutely delicious—this bread will earn a permanent spot in your recipe book. #EasyBreadRecipe #HomemadeBread #PerfectLoaves 🥖✨
