Pizza Cake

May 3, 2024 by admin

  • 2 pre-made pizza dough rounds (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups pizza sauce
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Assorted pizza toppings of your choice (e.g., pepperoni, cooked sausage, sliced bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, olives)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and line the bottom of two 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out one pizza dough round and carefully press it into the bottom of one cake pan, making sure it covers the entire bottom surface.
  3. Spread a layer of pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Add your desired pizza toppings on top of the cheese layer.
  6. Roll out the second pizza dough round and carefully place it on top of the toppings, gently pressing down around the edges to seal.
  7. Repeat the layering process with sauce, cheese, and toppings.
  8. Place the second cake pan on top of the filled cake pan to create a sandwich-like structure.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pizza cake is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pans for 5-10 minutes before carefully transferring it to a serving platter.
  11. Slice and serve warm. Enjoy your delicious Pizza Cake!

Toppings Variation: Feel free to get creative with your pizza toppings! You can customize your Pizza Cake with a variety of options, including different types of meats, vegetables, cheeses, and even sauces. Don’t be afraid to experiment and create your own signature flavor combinations.
